Revolution is defined as "a sudden, complete or marked change in something." The word is derived from the Latin revolvere meaning "turn, roll back." It refers to the general sense of the "instance of great change in affairs."
Nonduality refers to a world view that is beyond the pairs of opposites, beyond good and bad, beyond life and death, beyond light and dark or right and wrong. Since we mostly live in a dualistic world of good and evil, you and me, them and us, it is certainly a revolution of the spirit when suddenly we come to value the nondual point of view which transcends the pairs of opposites.
Strangely, the revolution is not a single event but an evolution, as well. We come to see the transcendence of good and evil, right and wrong, light and dark. However, we also accept and embrace them. Kahlil Gibran wrote:
If I accept the sunshine and warmth,
then I must also accept
the thunder and lightning.
A life in which all is accepted is revolutionary. It is transcendent. It is beyond life and death while experiencing life and death. The revolution of spirit, or as others have called it, the revolution of the heart, the inner revolution, is a complete change in perception.
Perhaps you are living the revolution. Perhaps you sense it. Perhaps you feel the revolution coming. And maybe you want to enjoy the company of people who understand this revolution.

Please note that we are meeting at the Lion's Head this time and not Hollis Street. There is no entry fee. The Lion's Head is quiet on Sunday evenings. Look for a red and white MeetUp sign on a large table probably in back somewhere. See you there.
It'll be good to see you again, Patricia. Looks like a great group is shaping up.
Best,
Jerry
Hey there! I invited a guest who won't be able to show up until around 8:30 - hope that's okay.
Unfortunately, I have to cancel due to a conflict of interest (as if there could be lol!) I am very disappointed as I was looking forward to a meeting in my area and the terrific topic...someday I'll make it :)
Thanks for letting us know, Patricia. We'll miss you. Come next time you can.
All the best,
Jerry
thanks Jerry, I'm disappointed but determined to show up one of these days :) It's my first discussion group (on the best topic ever!) so it's kinda special to me :)
this is so close by and such a great topic...I look forward to attending!
